Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, employee engagement, and separation.

Support workforce planning and manpower requirements in coordination with Business Heads and department managers.

Work closely with Business Heads and HODs to understand operational HR requirements and provide timely HR support.

Manage payroll administration, including attendance, leave, payroll inputs, employee records, and coordination with relevant departments.

Handle employment visas, work permits, renewals, and expatriate employee documentation in coordination with relevant authorities.

Support employee retention, engagement, welfare, and workplace initiatives.

Assist in managing employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and HR documentation.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable employment requirements.

Develop and maintain working knowledge of Maldives Labour Law and employment regulations, with the ability and willingness to quickly learn and apply relevant legal requirements.

Oversee and coordinate general office administration, including office facilities, supplies, maintenance, and administrative services.

Coordinate and monitor staff accommodation, including allocation, occupancy, maintenance, house rules, and employee accommodation-related matters.

Assist in managing the company vehicle fleet, including vehicle allocation, documentation, maintenance, servicing, fuel records, and related administrative matters.

Support other HR and administrative activities and ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a relevant field.

Minimum 2 years of experience at Senior Executive level or equivalent in HR & Administration.

Strong practical knowledge of HR operations and the employee lifecycle.

Experience in payroll administration and expatriate visa/work permit processes.

Good understanding of, or willingness to quickly learn, Maldives Labour Law and applicable employment regulations.

Experience or strong understanding of general office administration, staff accommodation, and vehicle/fleet administration will be an advantage.

Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational, coordination, problem-solving, and people-management skills.

Ability to work independently while maintaining effective coordination with Business Heads, HODs, employees, and external stakeholders.

Spoken Hindi/Dhivehi is a definite advantage.
