Server (Must Reside in the Maldives)

Position: Waitress

• Malé, Maldives

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Waitress or Service Crew member in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong command of English and willing to take a basic English test.

• Warm, friendly, and customer-oriented personality

• High standard of personal grooming and hygiene

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and maintain high energy levels

• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

• 20 – 30 years

Nationality:

• Open (Preferably Sri Lankan, Indian, Indonesian)

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus

Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cafés, restaurants, hotels, or similar food service establishments

Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort customers to their tables with a welcoming attitude

• Present menus, provide detailed information on food/beverage items, and make recommendations

• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system or order pads

• Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and ensure high-quality presentation

• Arrange table settings and maintain a clean, organized dining area

• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth, accurate service

• Handle cash and card transactions, process bills, and issue receipts

• Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints gracefully, and ensure an excellent dining experience

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and restaurant cleanliness procedures
