Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead marketing initiatives, strengthen industry partnerships, generate new business opportunities, and enhance Arriva's brand presence across digital and traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Identify and secure new customers, partnerships, and contracts.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends.
- Manage Arriva's social media platforms and digital presence.
- Oversee marketing materials and brand assets.
- Build relationships with resorts, travel agencies, tour operators, and key stakeholders.
- Support lead generation, business development, events, and promotional activities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in marketing management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of marketing, branding, and campaign management.
- Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- Experience with social media, digital marketing, and analytics tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, travel, or marine transport is an advantage.
Preferred
- Experience working in the Maldives is a significant advantage.
- Candidates who have lived and worked in the Maldives for several years will be strongly preferred.
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, transportation, or marine services is highly desirable.
