Job Opportunity: Reservation Agent - Female

Reports To: Front Office & Reservations Manager

About the Role

Safari Island Resort Maldives is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reservation Agent to manage guest bookings and ensure a smooth reservation process. The successful candidate will handle inquiries, process reservations accurately, coordinate with internal departments, and assist with transfer arrangements to deliver excellent guest service while maximizing room revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle room reservations via email, phone, and online booking channels.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries about room availability, rates, and resort services.

  • Enter and update reservation details accurately in the reservation system.

  • Monitor room availability and assist in maximizing occupancy and revenue.

  • Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and Housekeeping departments regarding guest arrivals and special requests.

  • Arrange seaplane and domestic transfers for guests and staffs, ensuring timely and smooth travel experiences.

  • Prepare reservation reports and maintain proper booking records.

  • Assist with group bookings, travel agent reservations, and special packages.

  • Ensure all reservation procedures comply with company policies and standards.

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with guests and partners.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office & Reservations Manager & Management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in reservations, front office, or guest services within a hotel or resort environment (preferred).

  • Familiarity with reservation systems (Opera, Fusion, IDS, or similar systems is an advantage).

  • Knowledge of seaplane and domestic transfer procedures is a plus.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Email).

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and team-oriented mindset.
