Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead and grow our presence in the HORECA sector (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés) across Malé and Hulhumalé. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key accounts, and leading the overall sales strategy for the HORECA segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets in the HORECA sector.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key clients, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, and corporate partners.
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and channels to expand the company’s client base.
  • Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract agreements with clients.
  • Oversee and support Business Development Executives to ensure sales performance and coverage.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to drive strategic decisions.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic plans for management review.
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager role, preferably within the HORECA or FMCG sector.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local HORECA market in Malé and Hulhumalé.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Result-oriented mindset with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in English (Dhivehi is an added advantage).
