Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Consultation: Meeting with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals.
  • Space Planning: Developing spatial layouts and floor plans that optimize functionality and aesthetics.
  • Concept Development: Creating design concepts that align with client requirements and project objectives.
  • Material Selection: Choosing appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures.
  • Design Documentation: Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and other documentation for construction.
  • Construction Administration: Overseeing the construction process, ensuring adherence to design plans.
  • Coordination: Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Presentation: Presenting design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Addressing any design or construction issues that arise. 
Essential Skills:
  • Design Skills: Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial planning.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (CAD, 3D modeling), knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and team members.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve design and construction issues.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other professionals.
