Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Interaction:
    Greeting guests, seating them, presenting menus, and taking orders (including recommendations and upselling). 
  • Order Management:
    Ensuring accurate order taking, communicating orders to the kitchen and bar, and promptly delivering food and drinks to the correct tables. 
  • Table Maintenance:
    Keeping tables clean and tidy, ensuring they are properly set, and clearing used dishes and utensils. 
  • Payment Processing:
    Preparing and presenting bills, processing payments (cash, credit card, etc.), and providing accurate change. 
  • Problem Solving:
    Addressing customer concerns, handling complaints, and escalating more complex issues to management. 
  • Teamwork:
    Collaborating with other waitstaff, kitchen staff, and bartenders to ensure smooth and efficient service. 
  • Maintaining Standards:
    Adhering to food safety guidelines, health regulations, and restaurant policies. 
  • Upselling:
    Suggesting additional menu items or drinks to increase sales. 
  • General Support:
    Assisting with restocking items, cleaning the dining area, and performing other tasks as needed.
