Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and service-focused Outlet Supervisor to support the daily operation of assigned Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of service, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, team performance and cost control.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Outlet Manager and F&B Management team and will also support other Food & Beverage outlets as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operation of the assigned Food & Beverage outlet.
  • Ensure outlet setup, cleanliness, guest service and equipment usage meet established standards.
  • Monitor staff hygiene, grooming and attendance.
  • Maintain effective stock control and proper handling of requisitions, wastage, spoilage and breakages.
  • Implement and reinforce management policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Support team orientation, coaching, performance appraisals and training activities.
  • Maintain effective employee relations and assist with staffing productivity.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate important operational information such as house count, menu changes and promotions.
  • Keep the F&B Operations Manager informed of service activities, progress and operational issues.
  • Support cross-exposure and training opportunities within F&B areas.
  • Supervise the preparation, presentation and service of food and beverage products to ensure consistent quality.
  • Maintain a visible presence in the outlet and interact with guests to obtain feedback.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Familiarize yourself with regular, long-stay, VIP and special-request guests.
  • Assist with the implementation of promotions and special events.
  • Monitor sales performance and support upselling of food, beverage, daily specials and slow-moving items.
  • Provide feedback to support achievement of sales and revenue targets.
  • Monitor furniture, fixtures and operating equipment for cleanliness, quality, quantity and proper usage.
  • Maintain outlet profitability by controlling payroll, equipment costs, misuse and losses.
  • Use resort systems to process guest charges, prepare forecasts, revenue reports and correspondence.
  • Maintain full knowledge of all Food & Beverage products and current promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and operational standards.
  • Provide continuous on-the-job training and monitor the progress of departmental trainers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ previous hotel restaurant service experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage service in a hotel, resort or quality restaurant environment.
  • Good understanding of service standards, stock control, cost control and outlet operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication and team-management skills.
  • Good guest relations and complaint-handling ability.
  • Ability to organize staff, delegate duties and monitor performance effectively.
  • Good computer literacy and ability to prepare operational reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Conversational French, German or another European language would be an advantage.
  • First Aid Training preferred.
