Reports To: F&B Manager / In-Charge

About the Role

Safari Island Resort is seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will prepare and serve beverages while providing friendly, professional, and attentive service in accordance with the resort’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of beverages, cocktail recipes, and menu items.
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, hygienic, and properly stocked.
• Monitor beverage inventory and report stock requirements.
• Follow hygiene, food-safety, and responsible beverage-service standards.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns professionally.
• Maintain bar equipment and report any maintenance requirements.
• Follow the resort’s billing and cash-handling procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the F&B Manager / In-Charge or Management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or similar establishment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and bar operations.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Good command of spoken English.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and team-oriented mindset.
• Age: 20–30 years preferred.
• Open to both male and female candidates.
• Relevant bartending qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
