Human Resources Officer – TMF

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Officer to manage daily HR operations and support employee relations at our operations in Thimarafushi, Thaa Atoll. This role will serve as the first point of contact for staff matters and assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding
  • Respond to employee queries and support HR processes
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations
  • Coordinate staff engagement and development activities
  • Assist the HR Manager with disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Manage Xpat System tasks, including work permits, renewals, and visas
  • Support payroll preparation and ensure accuracy of employee data
  • Prepare basic HR reports and support HR Assistants

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of HR/recruitment experience
  • Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and work permit processes
  • Preferably experience using HR systems and tracking HR metrics
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
