Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud System Administration: Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Security & Compliance: Implement security measures such as encryption, firewalls, and identity access management in the cloud.
- Network & Server Maintenance: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage both on-premise and virtualized servers.
- Data Management & Backup: Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning for data integrity.
- User Support & IT Operations: Provide technical support for hardware/software and manage user accounts and email systems.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with cloud vendors and service providers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of server management, networks (VPNs, firewalls), and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Security Focus: Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, encryption, and threat detection.
- Certifications: Desirable certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Comp TIA Security+
