Job Description
- Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards and reflects the values of Velaa Private Island.
- Teach and play Tennis and Padel Tennis with our guests and responsible to provide basic knowledge in squash, badminton, volleyball, wall climbing and basketball.
- Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain an excellent standard of customer service.
- Organize tennis & Padel Tennis sessions that cater for all ages of guests, including group coaching, free play, social tennis, and private lessons.
- Take personal responsibility for the maintenance and repair of Velaa sports equipment and sporting sites and ensure the satisfactory appearance of all sports facilities to meet the guest expectations.
- Ensure that sports supplies are well monitored and stocked.
- Be flexible in the job role and willing to assist in all other duties relating to land sports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably at a five star property.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure.
- Excellent command of written & spoken English, fluency in other languages will be an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills & confident to anticipate and manage processes.
- Excellent leadership skills and experience in team development.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible with duty hours & scope, and a team player.
- Knowledgeable in basic first aid and confident in attending to minor sports injuries.
