Marine Storekeeper

Responsible for managing onboard inventory and coordinating procurement for vessels, ensuring the timely availability of spare parts, tools, equipment, and consumables required for vessel operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities 

• Maintain accurate records of engine, deck, safety, and hotel stores inventory.
• Conduct regular stock inspections and monthly inventory audits.
• Coordinate procurement and replenishment of supplies with local suppliers.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials, considering tropical humidity and marine environmental conditions.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate timely reordering of critical spare parts and consumables.
• Prepare inventory reports and documentation for management review and regulatory inspections.

Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in marine, offshore, or vessel inventory management is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Maldivian supplier network and procurement processes will be an advantage.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
