Bartender

• Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards and reflects the values of Velaa Private Island.
• Craft and serve a variety of cocktails with precision and creativity.
• Engage with guests in a sophisticated and friendly manner, creating memorable experiences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area and demonstrate a multi-tasking personality.
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
• Demonstrate deep product knowledge and confidently recommend beverages to guests.
• Act as a brand ambassador, showcasing our offerings with enthusiasm and expertise.
• Uphold the highest standards of service and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role at a high-end five-star luxury hotel/resort.
• Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, and cocktail recipes.
• Excellent knowledge in computing and office software, and must be familiar with Opera PMS & Micros-Fidelio Materials Control.
• Excellent command of written & spoken English, fluency in other languages will be an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and honesty.
• Vibrant personality with the ability to generate a positive vibe.
• Experience in Leading Quality Assurance and Forbes Travel Guide standards.
• Be open-minded, eager to learn, and well-socialized with an outgoing personality.
• Adapt to changes and work effectively with a multinational team.
• Ability to connect with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
