Procurement and Logistics Manager

We are seeking a proactive Procurement and Logistics Manager to oversee our company's Local sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic procurement of all necessary materials, equipment, and services for our projects. This role involves developing and implementing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and coordinating all logistics to ensure the timely and cost effective delivery of goods to our various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage local procurement and logistics strategies and policies.  
• ​Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.  
• ​Source, negotiate, and order building materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining quality standards.
• ​Manage all logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and coordination of materials to multiple construction sites.
• ​Lead and guide the procurement team in all phases of their work.  
• ​Develop and review purchase requests to ensure proper authorization and compliance with company policy.  
• ​Collaborate with project managers to forecast requirements and with the accounts payable department to ensure timely payment of invoices.  
• ​Discuss and resolve issues related to defective or unacceptable goods or services with vendors and internal teams, taking corrective and preventative action.  
• Work to lower procurement costs and secure favorable agreements with suppliers.  
• ​Ensure supplier compliance with all site safety and company requirements.  

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience managing logistics and supply chain operations.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• ​Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead and mentor a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
