Admin Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Admin Assistant to manage vessel documentation, contracts, insurance records, and provide essential HR and administrative support. This role is ideal for someone organized, responsible, and confident in handling operational documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administrative tasks and documentation
  • Maintain and renew government permits and documents for supply boats and speedboats
  • Monitor and update vessel insurance records and docking schedules
  • Keep vessel-related contracts up to date and coordinate renewals with the Accounts team
  • Provide administrative support for MGH Island Transport staff and assist with HR processes

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Previous experience in an administrative role (experience in vessel or transport administration is an advantage)
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
