Key Responsibilities
As a Sales and Ticketing Officer, you will support the reservations team and assist in the smooth handling of travel requirements. Your main duties will include:
- Assisting customers with inquiries and processing flight or hotel bookings.
- Using GDS systems like Amadeus to search and book travel services.
- Handling ticket reservations, modifications, and cancellations accurately.
- Keeping up to date with airline industry developments, including NDCs.
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Supporting the team in preparing sales offers and promotional materials.
Key Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who is organized and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment. The requirements for this role are:
- Previous 1-2 years experience in a sales or ticketing role within the travel sector.
- Familiarity with GDS platforms, specifically Amadeus.
- Basic understanding of New Distribution Capability (NDC) and travel technology.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently and work as part of a team.
