Role Overview

Safari Island Resort Maldives is looking for a dedicated Gardener to maintain the beauty and health of the resort’s gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas. You will ensure plants are healthy, landscapes are visually appealing, and outdoor spaces are safe and welcoming for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant, water, prune, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns.
• Fertilize and apply pest control treatments as needed.
• Maintain outdoor irrigation systems and ensure efficient water usage.
• Keep pathways, garden beds, and public areas clean and safe.
• Assist with landscaping projects and seasonal planting.
• Monitor plant health and report issues to the HK supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of gardening tools, fertilizers, and chemicals.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a gardener, groundskeeper, or landscaper.
• Knowledge of plant care, irrigation, and basic landscaping techniques.
• Ability to work in a hot, outdoor environment and perform physical labor.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings if needed.
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining beautiful spaces.
