Short Term - Florist

• Uphold Velaa’s brand standards to ensure the resort’s commitment to excellence and personalized service.
• Design and prepare daily floral arrangements for villas, restaurants, spa, and other resort areas.
• Create special flower arrangements and decorations for guest requests, events, weddings, and celebrations.
• Ensure freshness and proper rotation of all flowers and floral materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the flower room and work areas.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and inventory control of floral supplies.
• Coordinate with other departments for timely delivery and setup of floral displays.
• Support landscaping team with seasonal decorations and garden flowers when required.
• Uphold resort standards for presentation, hygiene, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Florist, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong creativity and understanding of floral design principles.
• Knowledge of flower care, handling, and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work long hours or weekends during busy periods.
• Proactive and reliable in meeting deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a sense of aesthetics and presentation.
• Passionate about flowers, colour, and design.
