We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support the procurement team by assisting with sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination, and maintaining accurate procurement records to ensure smooth purchasing operations. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in sourcing products and suppliers based on company requirements • Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality • Prepare purchase orders and coordinate the approval process • Track purchase orders from placement through to delivery • Communicate with suppliers regarding order confirmations, shipping schedules, and delivery status • Follow up on delayed shipments and resolve issues related to damaged or incorrect deliveries • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and support vendor communications • Assist in identifying new suppliers and maintaining an up-to-date vendor database • Monitor inventory levels to help prevent stock shortages...
