WaveCraft, a leading fiberglass boatbuilding facility in the Maldives, is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to lead production and technical teams. This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for a skilled professional in FRP/composite boatbuilding.
What You’ll Do:
Lead daily production across lamination, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and finishing.
Interpret technical drawings and manage project schedules.
Supervise, train, and motivate multi-skilled teams.
Ensure top-quality standards and safety compliance.
Oversee engine, propulsion, and final vessel installations.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years in FRP/composite boatbuilding or shipyard operations.
Strong hands-on experience with hull/deck lamination, structural components, and marine systems.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Willingness to reside full-time on Thimarafushi Island....
