As an Accountant, you will be required to perform the following duties and undertake the following main responsibilities in a professional manner including but not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the accounting department and related administrative functions.
Coordinate with internal teams, including HR, to streamline financial and operational workflows.
Manage and update accounting systems (QuickBooks) and ensure timely closure of AR and AP.
Liaise with banks and financial institutions for project-related facilities and documentation.
Handle construction accounting and create SOPs for effective Work-in-Progress (WIP) management.
Prepare management accounts and periodic financial reports for review.
Ensure compliance and timely payment of taxes and statutory obligations.
Manage pre- and post-operational accounting activities for new business setups.
