Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Marine Diesel Engineer to perform routine maintenance, overhauls, and troubleshooting on marine engines and propulsion systems across our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Engine Maintenance: Perform routine servicing, overhauls, and repairs on marine diesel engines and generators.
- Diagnostics: Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, and electrical faults across fleet vessels.
- Propulsion Systems: Inspect and service gearboxes, shaft alignments, bearings, and auxiliary machinery.
- Logs & Inventory: Track engine room logbooks, maintenance schedules, and spare parts stock levels.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to maritime safety standards, environmental rules, and SOPs.
Requirements
- Education: Technical diploma or trade certification in Marine or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3+ years servicing high-speed marine diesel engines and propulsion systems.
- Certifications: Valid STCW certifications and official marine medical fitness clearance.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in reading mechanical schematics, diagnostics, and engine overhauls.
- Adaptability: Proven troubleshooting abilities under tight operational schedules and marine conditions.
