Job Description

Re-Plan designs, builds and manages projects by providing a one-stop solution for resort owners, with specialization in M&E; services, civil and architectural construction, and interior works for offices, hotels and especially resorts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, measurements, and cost estimates for MEP works, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Fire Protection systems.
  • Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to identify project requirements and scope of work.
  • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material quantities, and cost breakdowns.
  • Prepare tender pricing, quotations, and cost comparisons for MEP works.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate prices where required.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditure to ensure MEP works remain within the approved budget.
  • Prepare and evaluate interim payment applications, progress claims, and payment certificates.
  • Measure completed MEP works and verify quantities for payment purposes.
  • Prepare and evaluate variation orders, additional works, and claims, including supporting measurements and cost calculations.
  • Review subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and commercial terms related to MEP works.
  • Maintain accurate records of project costs, measurements, variations, claims, and payments.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, Procurement Teams, and MEP Contractors to resolve commercial and technical issues.
  • Assist with the preparation of final accounts and ensure all outstanding commercial matters are properly closed.
  • Ensure all quantity surveying activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, contract requirements, and company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor in construction or MEP projects.
  • Good knowledge of MEP systems, construction methods, and materials.
  • Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, quantity measurement, cost estimation, variations, claims, and contract administration
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a project team.
