Job Description

We are currently looking for GM - Civil and MEP for our Maldives Operation 

# Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Construction and MEP division 
# Develop and implement long-term business strategies to expand market share and profitability.
Lead divisional budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.

# Operational & Project Management

Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of projects to ensure compliance with quality, safety, budget, and schedule requirements.
Implement effective project management systems, monitoring tools, and reporting processes across all sites.
Approve project execution plans, risk assessments, and resource deployment strategies.
Resolve complex technical and operational challenges across projects.

# Business Development & Client Relations

Identify new business opportunities and expand the division’s client portfolio.
Represent the division in client meetings, negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
Maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.

# Financial & Commercial Management

Manage the division’s profit and loss (P&L) performance and ensure revenue growth.
Review and approve tender submissions, bids, and commercial proposals.
Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions when required.


People Leadership & Development

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, managers, and site staff.
Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and accountability frameworks.
Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development.


Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure full compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements.
Oversee implementation of QA/QC standards across all MEP projects.
Drive sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives within the division.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering 
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Construction , MEP contracting, consultancy, 
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects.
Strong commercial and financial management experience including P&L responsibility.
In-depth knowledge of Construction / MEP systems design, execution, codes, and industry standards.
