Software Developer

Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role for someone who takes ownership seriously. You’ll work directly on the systems that run Kokky. From e-commerce, POS integrations to inventory tooling and internal automation. In a lean team, what you build ships fast and makes an immediate impact. You’ll report directly to the Lead Developer and CEO jointly.

✦    Build and maintain internal systems to automate financial reconciliation and back-office workflows

✦    Develop integrations to streamline point-of-sale operations

✦    Build verification and audit tools to support operational accountability

✦    Develop and iterate on the e-commerce platform

✦    Build tooling to optimize stock receiving and inventory management

✦    Automate internal content workflows including product listing and asset management

✦    Build and maintain internal agents to handle routine operational processes

✦    Write technical documentation and maintain version control discipline across all projects

✦    Participate in planning sessions to scope out upcoming work

✦    Flag technical risks and blockers early

Requirements

Must Have

✦    Minimum 2 years of hands-on development experience

✦    Proven experience building full-stack web applications - frontend and backend

✦    Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Node.js, Python, or similar)

✦    Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)

✦    Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases

✦    Solid understanding of REST API design and integration

✦    Experience with version control (Git) and a structured development workflow

✦    Able to translate loosely defined business requirements into working software

✦    Experience, interest and competence in utilizing AI tools

✦    Strong written and verbal communication in English

✦    Comfortable using AI tools as part of daily work – up to date on recent developments and able to leverage AI to work faster and smarter

Nice to Have

✦    Experience with automation tooling or workflow scripting

✦    Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or POS systems

✦    Experience building mobile apps (React Native or Flutter)

✦    Experience with AI or agent frameworks

What We Offer

✦    MVR 25,000 – 30,000 per month, based on experience
