Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support the logistics team by coordinating deliveries, handling shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and assist with the delivery and pick-up of goods and materials to and from various locations
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to clients and internal departments
Handle airport shipments, including the pick-up and drop-off of cargo and related documentation
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with customs, transportation, and regulatory requirements
Visit suppliers and retail outlets to procure required materials and supplies as requested by the logistics or other departments
Maintain records of purchases and coordinate timely replenishment of stock
Assist in monitoring inventory levels, including stock counting, organizing, and storage of goods
Support inventory audits and ensure the accuracy of inventory records
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, shipments, inventory movements, and other logistics activities
Prepare logistics reports, delivery records, inventory updates, and related documentation
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, freight agents, and transport providers to coordinate deliveries and shipments
Follow up on delayed shipments and resolve issues related to damaged, missing, or incorrect deliveries
Assist in ensuring goods are handled, stored, and transported safely and efficiently
Support the logistics team with general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Ensure compliance with company logistics policies, procedures, and safety standards

Qualifications:

Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or a similar role
Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
Proficient in MS Office and logistics, inventory, or ERP software
Knowledge of inventory management, shipping documentation, customs procedures, and warehouse operations is an advantage
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Valid driving license will be an added advantage
