Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Male Pickup Driver to join our team in the Maldives. The ideal candidate must be an Indian, bangladeshi with a valid driving license for 4-wheel vehicles, a clean driving record, and familiarity with Maldivian roads or willingness to learn. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 4-wheel pickup vehicle for transportation of goods.

• Load and unload items as needed, ensuring they are secured properly.

• Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries or pickups.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.).

• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or traffic violations immediately.

• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.

• Assist with basic manual tasks when required (lifting, carrying, etc.).

• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.

Requirements:

• Valid Indian driving license for 4-wheel light vehicles (LMV – Transport License preferred).

• Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably with pickup trucks or light commercial vehicles.

• Valid passport (with at least 6 months' validity).

• Willingness to obtain a Maldives driving license upon arrival (company may assist).

• Good knowledge of road safety and defensive driving techniques.

• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items.

• Punctual, honest, and reliable.

• Basic English communication skills; knowledge of Hindi or Dhivehi is a plus.

• Clean criminal record and no history of major traffic violations.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Maldives or other foreign countries is an advantage.
