Your Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end production: lamination, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and finishing.
  • Interpret technical drawings and collaborate with naval architects/designers.
  • Prepare and manage production schedules to deliver projects on time.
  • Supervise and mentor multi-skilled teams: laminators, carpenters, electricians, mechanics, and painters.
  • Ensure top-notch quality standards and safe working practices.
  • Coordinate installation of engines, shafts, props, electrical systems, and final fit-out.
  • Train and develop local talent to boost productivity and skill levels.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years in FRP/composite boatbuilding or shipyard operations.
  • Hands-on expertise in hull & deck lamination, structural components, and marine finishing.
  • Experience installing engines, shafts, propellers, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read GA drawings, structural plans, and technical schematics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English and ready to relocate to Thimarafushi Island.
