Job Description

Role Overview:

  • This job role will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
  • Maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and guest service standards.
  • Oversee food preparation and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.
  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.
  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)

Specific Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar function from a top end luxury island resort.
  • Passionate about food quality, food product and story telling.
  • Strong leadership, ability to train and motivate a new team
  • Hands on
  • HACCP Certified
  • Opening experience
  • Fluent in English or other major foreign languages (e.g. Chinese, Arabic, French, etc.) are a plus.
  • Experience in New Zealand or Australia would be a plus.
