Job Description

Role Overview:

  • Reports to Executive Chef, directly responsible for our overwater kitchen, functions including food purchasing, preparation, training and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness.
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
  • Training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.
  • Good communication with Food and Beverage Manager, kitchen personnel and guests.

Specific Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Nikkei Cuisine experience is a must.
  • Ability to work in a remote location.
  • Pre-opening experience would be a plus.
  • English language is a must.
