Job Description

Role Overview:

  • To function as the operational manager for the resort, specifically directing departments under his purview and additionally ensuring all departments perform successfully to their maximum efficiency in accordance with agreed standards of operation and are individually profitable in accordance with budget guidelines.
  • To assist the General Manager in ensuring the success and sustainability of the hotel in achieving its objectives by deploying best practice business excellence processes and policies, empowerment and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • To maintain a business environment based on AccorHotels Vision, Mission, Core Values and Standards.
  • Be available to meet with guests and help Department Heads deal with discerning or unsatisfied guests, responding to guest complaints in a timely and empathic manner.
  • Closely monitor guest feedback, communicate feedback results and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Create innovative guest experiences

Specific Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role in a luxury resort.
  • Demonstrable achievements in improving customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Demonstrate experience in creating innovative guest experiences
  • Ability to work in a remote location
  • Proficiency in spoken and written business English.
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Excellent Leadership
  • Experience in pre-opening would be a plus.
