Short Term - Bartender

• Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards and reflects the values of Velaa Private Island.
• Welcoming guests, determining beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking orders.
• Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to guests.
• Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role at a high-end five-star luxury hotel/resort.
• Excellent knowledge in Bar terminology, standard recipes and garnishes.
• Excellent knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills & confident to anticipate the needs of the Department.
• Possesses outstanding guest service skills striving to exceed guests' expectations.
• Experience in Leading Quality Assurance and Forbes Travel Guide standards will be an advantage.
• Pleasant personality with excellent grooming and self presentation.
