Sales Executive – Front Office / Reception

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Interaction & Sales

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival with professionalism and enthusiasm.

  • Identify sales opportunities during guest check-in or inquiries (room upgrades, packages, excursions, spa, dining, etc.).

  • Convert walk-in inquiries into confirmed bookings.

  • Maintain a daily sales target (upselling, excursions, packages, etc.).

  • Promote ongoing offers, packages, and special events to in-house and walk-in guests.

Reception & Coordination

  • Handle check-in and check-out efficiently using the hotel PMS.

  • Answer guest inquiries regarding hotel facilities, room types, pricing, and availability.

  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure all sales entries are properly logged.

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, and accounting for smooth operations.

Communication & Reporting

  • Prepare daily sales and guest activity reports for management.

  • Maintain guest feedback logs and follow up on leads or special requests.

  • Report market trends, competitor rates, and guest feedback to management.

  • Ensure all communication and correspondence are handled in a timely, professional manner.

Customer Service

  • Ensure high-quality service standards to enhance guest satisfaction and retention.

  • Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and escalate when necessary.

  • Encourage guests to leave online reviews (Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Google, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Front Office or Hotel Sales.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Pleasant, confident personality with persuasive selling ability.
