# Dive Boat Captain Job Opportunity
**Employment Type:** Temporary
**Start Date:** December 2025
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and safety-conscious **Dive Boat Captain** to operate our dive boat and support dive operations. The ideal candidate will have strong seamanship skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a genuine passion for diving and marine environments.
## Responsibilities
- Safely operate and navigate dive boats to various dive sites
- Conduct pre-trip boat and safety checks
- Assist divers with boarding, gear loading/unloading, and equipment setup
- Maintain communication with dive guides and crew for smooth dive operations
- Ensure compliance with all maritime safety regulations and company policies
- Perform routine boat maintenance and report any issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for divers
- Respond effectively in emergency situations and assist with first aid if necessary.
- Ensuring all equipment on-board are in perfect working condition and the boat is well- maintained and clean.
## Requirements
- Valid captain’s license or relevant maritime certification Niyami 2 or higher.
- Proven experience as a boat captain, preferably in dive operations
- Strong knowledge of local waters, weather patterns, and safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for diving and marine conservation is a plus
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Physically fit and able to assist divers with gear and boarding
