Job Description

Key Responsibilities of a GSA:
  • Guest Check-in and Check-out:
    Warmly greeting guests, processing registration, issuing keys, and efficiently handling departures. 
  • Guest Assistance:
    Providing information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions; making recommendations; and assisting with luggage. 
  • Handling Inquiries and Complaints:
    Answering questions, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a professional and timely manner. 
  • Reservations and Payments:
    Managing reservations, handling payments (cash and credit cards), and maintaining accurate records. 
  • Maintaining Guest Confidentiality:
    Protecting guest information and ensuring privacy. 
  • Promoting Hotel Services:
    Informing guests about hotel amenities, special events, and packages. 
  • General Administration:
    Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, handling mail and messages, and performing other administrative tasks as needed. 
  • Communication and Teamwork:
    Effectively communicating with guests and other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations. 
In essence, a GSA is the face of the hotel, responsible for creating a welcoming and positive experience for every guest.
