Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef / Cook to join our vibrant team at Lets Coffee Maldives. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate culinary professional who can expertly combine artisanal pastry work with hot kitchen cooking to create outstanding food experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, sandwiches, pizzas, and other baked goods according to set recipes.

  • Develop and execute seasonal and signature recipes with creative flair and attention to detail.

  • Decorate pastries and desserts to ensure a visually appealing and high-quality presentation.

  • Prepare hot dishes and fresh salads, maintaining excellent taste and consistency.

  • Organize and maintain an attractive display case in the café to drive customer interest and sales.

  • Package products professionally for takeaway or delivery, following company standards.

  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment and uphold the café’s cleanliness and hygiene standards.

  • Communicate with customers to handle customized orders, suggest flavor pairings, and offer creative decoration ideas.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a polite, prompt, and service-oriented manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in both pastry and hot kitchen roles.

  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).

  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

  • Creativity, consistency, and passion for both baking and cooking.
