Speedboat Captain

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible, experienced, and safety-oriented Speedboat Captain to operate and maintain speedboats used for guest transfers, excursions, and logistics between islands in the Maldives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent navigation skills, strong customer service abilities, and an in-depth knowledge of maritime safety and Maldivian waters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate speedboats for guest transfers, staff transport, and supply runs.

• Ensure the vessel is in optimal working condition through daily inspections and routine maintenance.

• Monitor weather and sea conditions to ensure safe travel routes.

• Navigate to and from islands, resorts, and airports using GPS and traditional navigation tools.

• Communicate effectively with guests, providing a welcoming and professional experience.

• Adhere strictly to maritime safety laws, resort protocols, and environmental regulations.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the speedboat.

• Supervise crew onboard (if applicable) and ensure all safety equipment is on board and functional.

• Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the Operations Manager promptly.

• Assist in loading and unloading passengers and cargo.
