SENIOR CARGO CLEARANCE OFFICER (Inward & Outward)

Requirements:

·       Diploma I Bachelor Degree in supply chain management, logistics or any related disc.

·       3-5 years of experience in logistics, Customs Handling and Clearance Operations

·       Hands on expertise with HS Codes & customs ASYCUDA, MPL, MACL Clearance

·       Comprehensive knowledge of Customs Form Filling & Clearance Procedures

·       Driving License is a must; owning motorbike is an added advantage

·       Having customs broker license is an added advantage

·       Ability to write and speak well in both English and/or Dhivehi

·       Flexible enough to work long hours as and when required. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

·       Organise logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services. Assist in developing new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs. To be well versed with MPL & MACL clearance procedures.

·       Effectively follow up on day-to-day custom clearance of the consignments.

·       International Vessel handling works - Completion of shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing list, Bill of Lading & Certificate of origin etc as per Customs Regulations.

·       Manage documentation and filling of voyage reports of all vessels.

·       Responsible for clearing and processing all incoming and outgoing air & sea consignments on time to avoid any demurrage.

·       Always ensure On-time delivery - clearing of goods from the Customs within the shortest possible time.

·       Resolve all problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports / exports or customer issues.

·       Confirm compliance with import/export regulations/customs regulations, legal, health and safety requirements.

Salary: Negotiable based on Experience & Qualification
