Ayurveda Spa Therapist

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards awareness.
• Performs Ayurveda treatments to the highest of his/her ability.
• Communicates with the guest, giving advice on treatments and packages based on their personal and unique needs.
• Works closely with the Ayurveda doctor, delivering his/her expectations when performing treatments.
• Provides feedback and preferences related to guests' health and treatments to the spa team and the Ayurveda Doctor.
• Complies with company SOP’s and protocols.

Qualifications

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Ayurveda from an accredited institute.
• Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology.
• Strong analytical abilities with great capacity to develop individualized treatment plans based on patients’ needs and histories.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a professional Ayurveda and spa therapist in a 5-star luxury resort—remote location will be an advantage. 
• In-depth knowledge of the principles of Ayurveda and how to conduct the treatments.
• Excellent teamwork skills, being able to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including Ayurveda Doctor, nutritionists, etc.
