Job Description

Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and executing growth opportunities for MGH Group across its various business sectors. The role involves market research, strategic partnerships, and revenue generation through new business ventures, client acquisition, and service expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Growth & Market Expansion: Develop and implement business strategies to expand MGH Group’s market presence in the Maldives and internationally.

- Client & Partnership Development: Establish relationships with potential clients, suppliers, and strategic partners to enhance business opportunities.

- Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy: Drive revenue growth through targeted sales strategies, pricing models, and contract negotiations.

- Market Research & Analysis: Identify market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities for business diversification.

- Proposal & Bid Management: Prepare and present business proposals, tender applications, and investment pitches.

- Collaboration & Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams to align business development efforts with company goals.

- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track business development performance metrics and report progress to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

- Knowledge of the Maldivian business environment and international trade.

- Ability to identify and capitalize on emerging business opportunities.
