Position Overview:
The Security Supervisor will oversee the daily security operations at a designated client property, ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets. The role involves supervising a team of security personnel, enforcing company and client policies, and maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Security Staff:
- Assign duties and responsibilities to security personnel.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of security team members.
- Ensure proper grooming, punctuality, and discipline of staff.
Safety and Security Monitoring:
- Conduct routine inspections and patrols to identify potential security risks.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, and take appropriate action.
- Investigate and document any security breaches or incidents.
Policy Enforcement:
- Ensure compliance with company and client policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Implement and maintain access control procedures, including visitor management.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare daily activity reports, incident reports, and other documentation as required.
- Report any security concerns or issues to the Operations Manager or client management.
Team Training and Development:
- Train new security personnel on company and client policies and procedures.
- Conduct periodic refresher training for staff to ensure skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
Client Interaction:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the security team and the client.
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
Equipment and Asset Management:
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of security equipment, such as radios and surveillance systems.
- Maintain an inventory of security-related assets and supplies.
Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Physically fit and capable of standing or patrolling for extended periods.
- Familiarity with computer systems for reporting purposes.
