Sales Assistant

Job Description

·         Greet customers and provide a welcoming shopping experience.

·         Assist customers in selecting and purchasing products.

·         Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.

·         Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers.

·         Upsell and cross-sell products to increase revenue.

·         Achieve individual and team sales targets.

·         Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately.

·         Ensure the cash counter is balanced at the end of each shift.

·         Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals.

·         Attend team meetings and training sessions.

·         Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends.

Educational Background: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Prior experience in retail or sales is an advantage.

Skills:

o    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

o    Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

o    Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.

o    Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Other Requirements:

·         Must be punctual, reliable, and presentable.

·         Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy items when necessary.
