Job Description

Position Overview:
The Reservations Staff, also referred to as a Travel Designer, will be responsible for handling
B2C inquiries and bookings, creating tailored travel packages for inbound and outbound clients,
and delivering exceptional customer service. This role emphasizes understanding customer
needs, designing detailed itineraries, and crafting comprehensive travel proposals while meeting
sales targets and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction:
○ Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email, phone, and
social media.
○ Identify and understand customer needs to create personalized travel solutions.
○ Handle inquiries and bookings for diverse nationalities, ensuring cultural
sensitivity and adaptability.
2. Itinerary Building and Proposal Design:
○ Create detailed and visually appealing itineraries, including accommodation,
activities, transfers, and meals.
○ Design travel proposals with unique property features, free amenities, halal meal
options, alcohol policies, and other customer-specific needs.
○ Utilize creativity to craft engaging daily schedules for clients, highlighting
memorable experiences.

3. Product Knowledge:
○ Stay updated on inbound and outbound travel packages, promotional offers, and
property details.
○ Develop an in-depth understanding of the Maldives market, including unique
features of resorts and hotels.
○ Conduct property visits or familiarize yourself with offerings to "feel and touch"
the product for effective client communication.

4. Sales and Revenue Generation:
○ Achieve a minimum monthly sales target of USD 5,000 to qualify for
commissions.
○ Upsell additional services and ensure consistent follow-ups to secure bookings.
○ Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate promotional campaigns into
proposals.

5. Presentation and Communication:
○ Present travel options and packages in a professional, visually appealing, and
customer-friendly format.
○ Maintain consistency in proposal designs, incorporating property images, activity
descriptions, and clear pricing.

6. Team and Process Coordination:
○ Coordinate with the Reservations Team Leader to ensure individual and team
targets are met.
○ Provide feedback on customer preferences to enhance the company’s service
offerings.
○ Contribute to the development of SOPs and team processes for smooth
operations.

Qualifications:
● Minimum 2 years of experience in reservations, sales, or travel consultancy (B2C
experience preferred).
● Strong understanding of inbound and outbound travel packages, with expertise in the
Maldives market.
● Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
● Proficiency in CRM systems, travel booking platforms, and proposal design tools.
● Ability to understand and cater to diverse cultural and regional preferences.

Additional Expectations:
● Create detailed proposals that highlight property features, unique selling points, and free
amenities.
● Work closely with the Reservations Team Leader to align on sales strategies and
performance goals.
● Adapt to customer needs and demonstrate sensitivity when working with clients from
different nationalities.
● Ensure customer retention by delivering excellent service and following up on inquiries
effectively.
