Position Overview:

The Bar Man will provide exceptional beverage service aboard the safari boat, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will be flexible, team oriented, and capable of assisting other team members in various tasks when required. This role also requires excellent communication skills, record-keeping abilities, and the ability to swim.

Work Location: Stay Madivaru – Safari Boat

Salary: US$ 450 – US$550 [Negotiable]

Additional Remuneration: Service Charge based on Sales and Occupancy [To be Paid in MVR]

Medical Insurance: Provided by Employer

Food and Accomodation: Provided on Boat

Contract Period: 2 years

Job Description:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Maintain knowledge of cocktail recipes and presentation standards.

• Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of beverages and bar supplies.
• Assist with ordering and restocking as necessary. Record all bills accurately and ensure proper documentation of guest consumption.
• Collect bar payments from guests before their departure.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of beverages and bar supplies.

• Maintain a clean and organized bar and lounge area.
• Communicate fluently in English to understand and cater to guest preferences.
• Provide recommendations for drinks or beverages and engage in friendly conversations.
• Be flexible and assist other team members with various tasks aboard the safari boat as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in bar service or hospitality.
• Certificate related to the field.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to swim confidently.
• A pleasant personality and ability to handle guests professionally.
• Flexibility to support team members with various responsibilities aboard the safari boat
