AC Mechanic

• Follow the Velaa service standards, service sequence, standard operational procedures, policies and most of all reflect the values of Velaa Private Island.
• Oversee the maintenance, installation, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across the resort, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Address all AC and refrigeration-related maintenance requests reported to the helpdesk promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct regular maintenance inspections, perform adjustments, and calibrate thermostatic controls to ensure optimal performance.
• Uphold a safe and secure environment for both guests and employees within the assigned areas of responsibility.
• Ensure tools are well-maintained and maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts to support uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' working in a similar role with experience in Maldives at a luxury resort / hotel.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical skills, repairs, and inspections is essential.
• A degree, diploma, or formal training in refrigeration, air conditioning, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiar with modern tools, equipment and machinery related to the scope of works.
• Ability to respond quickly and professionally to any issues.
• Good command of the English language, with clear communication skills for effective coordination and reporting.
• Strong team player who can collaborate effectively and assist colleagues when required.
