Room Boy

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in guest rooms and common areas
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Replenish room supplies, such as toiletries, snacks, and beverages
• Report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold hotel cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or information

Requirements:

• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
• Physical stamina for manual labor and the ability to lift and move objects
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team
• Strong time management skills to complete tasks within established timeframes
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with other hotel staff
• Previous experience in a room attendant or housekeeping role is beneficial
