Laravel Developer

Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using the Laravel framework to support hotel management, booking, and customer services.
• API Integration: Build and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless connections with third-party services, such as payment processors and booking platforms.
• Database Management: Create and optimize MySQL database schemas, manage database migrations, and ensure data integrity and security.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of applications, identify bugs, and optimize performance to ensure reliability and a seamless user experience.
• Code Maintenance: Regularly refactor, optimize, and document code, ensuring readability and future scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the design, product, and front-end development teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Security: Implement security measures and industry best practices to protect sensitive customer data and maintain application integrity.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, Laravel updates, and emerging technologies to ensure Triton Hotels remains at the forefront of web development.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Laravel development with a track record of building and deploying web applications.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in PHP, Laravel framework, MySQL, and Git version control.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React (preferred).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating third-party services.
  • Knowledge of best practices in code security, performance optimization, and scalability.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively within a team and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Hospitality or Booking Systems: Prior experience in building or maintaining systems specific to the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with Cloud Services: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile development environment.
