Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to oversee our kitchen operations and create exceptional dining experiences for our customers. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning, managing kitchen operations, recruiting and training staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.


Responsibilities:


• Develop and design menus for restaurants, catering services, and other food service establishments.
• Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, staff management, budgeting, inventory management, and maintaining quality standards.
• Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, chefs, and other food service personnel.
• Ensure that all the food items meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
• Manage food and labor costs, maintain profitability, and ensure the kitchen is running
efficiently.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline kitchen
operations, reduce waste, and maintain quality.
• Ensure that all the kitchen equipment is in good working condition and well-maintained.
• Ensure compliance with all the food safety and sanitation regulations, health and safety
regulations, and labor laws.
• Interact with customers, take feedback, and resolve their complaints.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest food trends, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements:


• Proven working experience as an Executive Chef for at least 5 years.
• Experience in menu planning, kitchen management, and staff supervision.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to manage food and labor costs, maintain profitability, and ensure kitchen efficiency.
• Ability to create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in culinary arts
• Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.
