SOUS CHEF to join our F&B Kitchen team
Key Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of worldly cooking philosophies and principles with a good foundation in culinary.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of Asian/Western cuisine.
• Minimum 02 years experience in a similar role within a luxury resort, hotel or restaurant.
• Our succesful candidate should have strong operational & interpersonal skills, passionate about training.
• Skilled in monitoring and controlling food costs by creative menu planning and keeping waste to a minimum.
• Good operational, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP as well as general health & Safety in the Workplace.
• Excellent communication skills and able to speak fluently in English.
Located in the UNESCO world biosphere of Baa Atoll, Finolhu provides the ultimate island experience for guests. The rooms are on the ocean, the lagoon or by the beach. Some of the rooms have a private pool. Set in a UNESCO Biosphere reserve, and easily accessible via the domestic Baa Atoll airport or a 30-minutes seaplane ride from Malé.
